Where has November gone? More so, where has 2022 gone?
We have been blessed at Gunsite again this year with a grand year of meeting hundreds of new Gunsite Family Members, seeing hundreds of returning Gunsite Family and providing life-saving skills to all. So many of the Republic’s new gun owners are following Col. Cooper’s advice of “just because you own a piano does not make you a musician.” Thank you one and all for your belief in what we offer all.
We would be remiss if we did not remember and acknowledge events of 81 years ago today. The Greatest Generation did not just step up, they ran forward boldly, allowing us the freedoms we have today.
Colt is here this week with a media event for some items we can’t discuss as it is a Pre-SHOT Show event with release at SHOT. We are proud of our decade’s long partnership with Colt (and now CZ) and that they continue to choose Gunsite as the venue to release their new products to the media. Always fun to visit with the tier one print, video and social media influencers as well.
Planning on training at Gunsite in 2023? Remember that if you enroll prior to December 31, 2022, you enroll at the 2022 prices. That is, you don’t have to pay the slight increase in tuition due to inflation. There is a Christmas special underway for gift certificates. Our standard classes conclude this week with a 223 Carbine and CCW Permit Class. But next week we have another private class with the LA Sheriff’s Office Special Enforcement Bureau (SWAT), Michael Bane with his new television program and Yavapai County AZ Sheriff’s Office.
The Gunsite Staff and Instructors will enjoy some time with their family and friends celebrating Christmas and the New Year, with the Offices, Pro Shop and Ranges closing by Noon December 23rd, reopening on Tuesday the 27th and closing again on the 30th, reopening on January 2, 2023.
January 2023 starts back with a 250 Pistol, a Pistol Tutorial, Pistol Range Day, Nashville 150 Basic Pistol, 223 Carbine, Media Events, and more. We will also have staff walking and walking the aisles at SHOT Show in Las Vegas. This is a great opportunity for us to see Gunsite family and also visit with our industry partners.
Look for a stunning announcement at SHOT Show about a new collaboration between Gunsite and yet-to-be-named partners . . . If you attend SHOT, look for us at Industry Day at the Range and at our Press Conference on Tuesday AM. That’s all I can say for now!
